Last Day of Business as Usual

Riding in style, We started our final day of meeting with companies with getting this swanky coach bus to drive us to BraunAbility i’ve pent my last four years as a college football players and i know coach busses and this one ladies and gentlemen was in a league of all its own. They are a fantastic company with some of the nicest down to earth people I have ever met. Special thanks to Sarah from HR for sitting with us and explaining all of our questions and speaking better American English than we do!

BraunAbility is formerly known as Auto adapt, and still goes by that name as a distributor at there factor who does installation. They make really remarkable products with the goal of making independence for all their customers, they make mobile solutions for disabled customers. Thy make everything from simple steering wheel grips, to complete conversions with drop down floors for electric wheel chairs. They company makes These really amazing wheel chairs that when connected to the system in the car go straight into a normal car seat, it was really fascinating seeing the work on the back side from an engineering viewpoint.

I would like to give another thanks to BraunAbility for such the access to the company they gave us an all access pass to the company from almost every aspect, we learned about their lean manufactoring to an in-depth tour of their factory to seeing the installation on their products and seeing the real life application of their products. Seeing the real life vehicles being upfitted, it really blew me away actually seeing how seamlessly the company was able to adapt their seating for getting in and out of a vehicle and the controls they offer for any specific need a customer has, all the way down to the seat becoming a wheel chair and offering full mobility.

Remente was our second stop of the day and yes BraunAbility sent us in style on the worlds best coach bus again to our second meeting of the day and our last business meeting here in Sweden. David was an awesome presenter and very knowledgeful of his field, he was extremely enlightening as he told us about his mental health, and self improvement app. It is a Holistic approach to ones well being that aims to finding balance in ones everyday life. It is definitely a very cool app and an eye awakening experience to how bad mental health is an issue for us as a society as a whole.

Whats a night in Sweden without some Italian food? We tried a new Italian place and it payed off with delicious pizza and even better drinks.
