Today we started our started day by navigating to Skapa, it is a marketing firm founded in 1996 by Erik Ekholm. He has a masters of science in Naval Architecture at Chalmers University of Technology.

Erik is the founder and current CEO of Skappa, Skappa specializes in content marketing of one business to another business. they are different from most marketing in that their goal clients are large companies that they create a marketing strategy that is aimed at other companies and not the end user.

Erik informed us that most companies that market to the end user use a strategy of story telling to display the values of the company and to demonstrate how the product can benefit the everyday use to the end consumers. But Skapa marketing to the professional side of a product they do not utilize the story telling but create in depth post that our very technical that demonstrate unique product features, that funnel viewers to their site. That is done by Skapa creating sites that are designed to match search algorithms to provide additional value to customers. But possibly my favorite part of visiting Skapa is their amazing office, for being just a 9 person company their wonderful office that can compete with companies much larger than them, they have a modern sleek office with a Wii even in the break room. The office is also on what the Swedes call the 6th floor and had a really cool view of the city, with a wrap around balcony that the employees can eat and work on in good weather

Different food different College. In the second part of our day we went to Gothenburg University where we met some professors where we had a fun lesson on Sweden history and facts, and then had an intriguing conversation on the effects of Britain leaving the EU and the effects that will have on Europe as a whole and the effects it will have on Sweden. We also hung out with Swedish exchange students and learned about their transition to Sweden, and told them the wild life of an American college student our favorite foods.
We had a fun chat about hockey and our local Swedish home team Frölunda who we will be seeing in a couple days. We learned the differences between European and North American hockey, like the size of the rink.
